force friday II millennium falcon posters

Millennium Falcon VS The First Order Awesome LEGO Millennium Falcon posters! Included in the Force Friday II and Millennium Falcon [75192] launch promotions was the free VIP posters. For LEGO VIP purchase of any Star Wars set, a  Millennium Falcon mini poster was given away, and there's a different one each day! Why limit to VIP? Because it serves as an invitation for the early VIP access to purchase the biggest LEGO set ever! At the back of the poster is the date 14.9.2017 and the website VIP.LEGO.COM . The first poster is a brick version of the chase in Jakku in The Force Awakens , wherein Rey and Finn were trying to evade the First Order. The epic scene was set against a sunset, making it very vivid and colorful. The  Millennium Falcon [75192]  has a feature of switching the model from the latest trilogy to the original one. So, it only makes sense to make a poster depicting the old gang of rebels. For the second poster, the chosen scene was from The Empire Strikes Ba...

LEGO force friday II experience

Force Friday II (Photo grabbed from: LEGO Store Promotional Material) Force Friday II is here and LEGO has a lot of force-filled goodies for brick fans from a galaxy far, far away... For some reason, LEGO UK waited until the last minute to announce their Force Friday II (weekend) offers, but it's so worth the wait. Unfortunately, I was working (and not to mention exhausted) the past few days so a timely announcement post is not feasible. My sincerest apologies. Let me just give you an account of my wife and I's Force Friday II experience. To continue celebrating 40 Years of Star Wars, and to further hype The Last Jedi (merchandise), 1 September has been marked as Force Friday II. Since the day wasn't declared a public holiday, the event was extended the whole weekend. And of course LEGO is a big part of this celebration, releasing new (huge) sets based on the upcoming film, with lots of offers and freebies to boast. There are a few Star Wars sets on sale, mostly from the R...

LEGO star wars in black and white

LEGO Star Wars in Black and White Or alternatively my favorite shots in dramatic monochrome. How did this little side project come about? I was just looking for a new wallpaper to match my black and white phone then  voilà !... It is only quite recently that I was able to obtain larger sets. That's why it is also only quite recently that I decided to do scenic shots, and I fell in love with it! For Finn in the Millennium Falcon [75105] , I was originally aiming to do a shot in the gun well but I can't seem to make it work. So, I settled with him in the cockpit instead. At least the upper quad laser cannon is visible behind him. Finn Manning the Falcon Krennic's Imperial Shuttle [75156] is definitely one of my favorite LEGO Star Wars sets. It definitely is a must to have the suave director's photo taken inside his wicked spacecraft. For Krennic, it's all about style! I mean wearing white in a black on black ship? Exactly on point! Director Krennic's Imperial Shu...

millennium falcon [75105] review

Millennium Falcon [75105] It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs ... Or at least according to Han Solo. Everyone's favorite intergalactic smuggler has boasted this claim about the iconic Millennium Falcon ever since A New Hope , and he even repeated this in  The Force Awakens . It's a rather ambiguous statement because parsec is a unit of distance and not time. Different justifications have been provided such as the Kessel Run being referred as more than just a route but also a race. Or maybe Old Ben is correct in saying that this is nothing but an obvious misinformation . Hopefully, the definitive explanation will be presented in next year's untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story movie. Or maybe it will remain a mystery, enshrouded in the great captain's infamy. Regardless of the truth, there's no denying that the Millennium Falcon is an epic spacecraft. It is a modified Corellian YT-1300f light freighter. When I was younger, I was really...

LEGO star wars magazine: issue 18

LEGO Star Wars Magazine Issue 18 LEGO Star Wars Magazine Issue 18 is already available and it's a bumper issue! This month's freebie is the Flash Speeder plus a bonus gift! I usually have a love/hate relationship with bumper issues mainly because of the price tag, but in this case, it's purely love. Because I got the Millennium Falcon that I've missed earlier this year! Millennium Falcon Ain't it sweet?  It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs! Please take note that the clear stand is not included in the foil pack. Just like other bumper issues, the bonus gift varies per quantity. Aside from the Millenium Falcon, one can get another chance in obtaining the Jedi Weapon Rack or Luke's Landspeeder. The people behind  LEGO Star Wars Magazine must really love the prequel trilogy for this month's free gift is another model from that era. Flash Speeder The Flash Speeder is a lightweight vehicle used by Naboo Royal Security Forces as a...
