LEGO star wars magazine: issue 25

LEGO Star Wars Magazine Issue 25 Better late than never. Issue 25 of the LEGO Star Wars Magazine has been out for some time now, and the amazing gift is none other than a Sandcrawler minibuild! The free LEGO set for July is a miniature version of the Jawas' huge mobile fortress. The meter-tall humanoid species use the Sandcrawler both for their transport and shelter. The build is quite simple but efficient enough to be distinguishable. And of course, it's always fun to make smaller variations of iconic Star Wars models. It's such a shame that a Jawa minifigure is not included. I guess that's just too much to ask. Well, there's always future issues! Sandcrawler Next issue comes out with a LEGO minifigure. It may not be a Jawa, but it's equally cool! Free Imperial Snowtrooper minifigure next month! Issue 26 will be released on 9 August. Imperial Snowtrooper

july mini model build: octopus

July Mini Model Build [40245] The LEGO Store's Monthly Mini Model Build for July is a super cute octopus! This is my first time receiving a  Monthly Mini Model Build because it's technically for children aged 6 to 14 only. Luckily last Thursday night, I visited my local LEGO Store near closing time, and there were still a few bags left! The event happened in UK LEGO Stores earlier that day from 1600 to 1800. Octopus I had a lot of fun building the adorable sea creature! The final build was simply but beautifully designed, and not to mention it has movable tentacles! And I love the color scheme of different shades of blue with lime green (my favorite LEGO color) highlights! This mini build will definitely stay in my workstation for quite a while. Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance The next free Monthly Mini Model Build is on 3 August, still from 1600 to 1800. The theme is still underwater, but this time it will be a multicolored tropical fish ...

#HarryPotter20

#HarryPotter20 Happy 20th Harry Potter! Or more appropriately, Happy 20th anniversary  Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone ! Can you believe it?! The book that started all the magic in the Wizarding World was first published twenty years ago today in the United Kingdom! Man, I feel old, haha! Though, for me, it won't be until the dawn of the new millennium that I have first opened the pages of this enchanting book. Regardless, I still feel old, haha! But seriously now, thank you very much Harry for letting me accompany you in your adventures, and grow up with you on the process. And I think most importantly, thank you for introducing me to a whole lot of wonderful people, not only in your world but also in mine. Of course when I say Harry, I truly meant the virtuoso behind it all. To Joanne Kathleen Rowling, thank you very much for adding magic in my childhood! ( P.S. I almost forgot that this is a LEGO fan blog, so thank you LEGO for translating the Wizarding World into b...

LEGO star wars in black and white

LEGO Star Wars in Black and White Or alternatively my favorite shots in dramatic monochrome. How did this little side project come about? I was just looking for a new wallpaper to match my black and white phone then  voilà !... It is only quite recently that I was able to obtain larger sets. That's why it is also only quite recently that I decided to do scenic shots, and I fell in love with it! For Finn in the Millennium Falcon [75105] , I was originally aiming to do a shot in the gun well but I can't seem to make it work. So, I settled with him in the cockpit instead. At least the upper quad laser cannon is visible behind him. Finn Manning the Falcon Krennic's Imperial Shuttle [75156] is definitely one of my favorite LEGO Star Wars sets. It definitely is a must to have the suave director's photo taken inside his wicked spacecraft. For Krennic, it's all about style! I mean wearing white in a black on black ship? Exactly on point! Director Krennic's Imperial Shu...

LEGO star wars magazine: issue 24

LEGO Star Wars Magazine Issue 24 The LEGO Star Wars Magazine Issue 24 is already out and this month's free gift is the awesome A-Wing Starfighter! The latest issue of our favorite magazine from a brick galaxy far, far away is filled with the usual comics, pull-out posters, fact files, puzzles, and more, encompassing all eras and even beyond ( ehem, Freemakers, ehem ). Speaking of comics, the one where the Skywalker twins used a Gungan Sub to save Lando and Chewie in Naboo painfully reminded me that I missed the LEGO version of the underwater vehicle! And not to mention the Queen Amidala minifigure! Say what you want but I super love The Phantom Menace ! Back to the magazine, the free LEGO set in this issue is an A-Wing minibuild. The A-Wing is a wedge-shaped starfighter widely used by the rebels for a long period of time, from the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire, to the Resistance against the First Order. A-Wing The mini A-Wing is a cute and fun model to build. With reg...
